Who we are

Japanese art is a living dialogue. It speaks through form and material, through gesture, silence, and the breath of time. This philosophy has shaped my path as a scholar, educator, curator, advisor, and collector.

Solignac Art brings together deep expertise and intuitive vision — shaped by authenticity, empathy, and precision. These values guide my work with collectors, curators, and creators around the world.

Every project begins with listening — and unfolds through clarity, depth, and discretion. From provenance research and catalogue essays to curating and collection strategy, we help reveal what matters — what’s rare. What’s honest. What’s worth keeping. Our style is simple, but never simplistic. Elegant, but never empty.

Japanese art asks for attention, stillness, and contemplation — whether before a classical byōbu screen, a postwar performance piece, a digital installation, or a contemporary Nihonga painting. It is a way of seeing. A way of understanding people and objects on their own terms.

Art, after all, is not a product — it’s a conversation. Our role is to help you enter that conversation with clarity, confidence, and care.
